Question Mark Nebula

from £30.00

The Big Question, is there life out there...

The Cosmic Question Mark Nebula or NGC-7822 is an emission nebula and a haven for new star creation, located some 2,900 light years away. The "dot" of the question mark aka the Little Rosette Nebula is considerately further away at 7,500 light years.

The image was captured over three nights from my home in Dartford on the Eastern outskirts of London under Bortle 7 skies using an Askar FRA400, 0.7x reducer and monochrome PlayerOne Poseidon-M cooled camera through Hydrogen Alpha, Oxygen III and Sulphur II filters.
