Lobster Claw Nebula and Friends

from £30.00

This wide-field image captures a rich region of the northern Milky Way, featuring the Lobster Claw Nebula (Sh2-157), the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635), the Salt and Pepper open cluster (M37), and the compact Northern Lagoon Nebula (NGC 7538), which is notable for hosting the largest known protostar, over 300 times the size of our Solar System.

The image was captured from my home in Dartford on the eastern outskirts of London under Bortle 7 skies, using an Askar FRA400 refractor and a monochrome Player One Poseidon-M cooled camera with Hydrogen-alpha, Oxygen-III, and Sulphur-II narrowband filters.
